Scotland

The first time I visited Scotland, I was completely captivated. It remains the most breathtaking place I have ever seen. Everywhere I turned looked like it belonged on the front of a postcard. During my trip, I explored the bustling cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as charming villages that seemed untouched by time.

One of my most memorable experiences was hiking up a steep hill and reaching the summit to find a panoramic view of the countryside. All around me stretched rolling green fields, scattered villages, and endless hills — a scene so magical it felt almost unreal.

Highlights from the trip included searching for the elusive Loch Ness Monster, wandering the historic grounds of St. Andrews, and attempting to track down a turkey in November for Thanksgiving dinner — we eventually found a itty bitty turkey, but it was delicious!

Scotland’s beauty, history, and spirit left a lasting impression on me. It is a destination everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. You won't be disappointed.
